Dongdaemun Design Plaza, one of Seoul’s most iconic architectural landmarks designed by Zaha Hadid, has become a magnet for both tourists and locals. In August 2025, it was the stage for the world’s largest outdoor projection mapping, which earned a Guinness World Record. Timo Helgert was selected as one of the four main artists featured in this groundbreaking installation. Over the course of a single week, more than 500,000 visitors experienced the artworks, while Seoul Fashion Week took place with Helgert’s installation serving as a striking backdrop.
